Abstract： In 2020，China’s nuclear industry worked together with their global
partners to overcome the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic， ensuring the smooth
progress of major projects such as the K2/K3 in Pakistan，Hinkley Point C，and
ഠ߶॓࿐໓ངԛϱഠϱಃ෮Ⴕ
the fuel assembly plant in Kazakhstan. International cooperation on the nuclear power
chain has been further boosted，with major bilateral cooperation projects between
China and Russia，and China and France accelerated. The nuclear power operation

and maintenance services in Pakistan were completed. HPR-1000 nuclear reactor has
successfully passed the European Utility Requirements （EUR） compliance assessment.
International cooperation in nuclear science and technology innovation has been

continuously strengthened， with ITER projects undertaken by China has achieved
more fruitful results， the first international standard compiled by China’s nuclear

industry has been published. With continuously strengthened global influence， the
Chinese government and nuclear industry have actively participated in international
governance in the nuclear fi eld，fulfi lling international obligations.
