On 16 June, the 2026 Nuclear Power Project Construction Experience Exchange Conference took place in Xiamen, Fujian Province. The conference, entitled “Quality Improvement and Performance Enhancement in Nuclear Power Construction”, brought together over 210 representatives from 83 organizations to discuss quality control, design optimization, management innovation, digital and intelligent applications, advanced construction technologies, and cost and schedule control in nuclear power project construction.

Cao Shudong, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA), attended the conference and gave a speech at the opening ceremony.

During the conference, two key research outcomes were released: Research and Assessment Practice on Quality Control of Concrete Supply Chain in Nuclear Power Projects and Guidelines for Capability Assessment of Construction and Installation Contractors for Nuclear Power Projects.
