CNEA Holds 2026 Annual Conference on Operational Safety of Nuclear Power Plants
On 10 June, the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) held its 2026 Annual Conference on Operational Safety of Nuclear Power Plants in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. The conference, entitled “Operational Safety Improvement and Performance Enhancement of Nuclear Power Plants”, aimed to share good practices and experience, and to promote collaborative efforts in nuclear safety improvement and performance enhancement.
Guo Limin, Secretary General of the CNEA, gave a speech at the opening ceremony. The conference was hosted by CGN Power, in cooperation with Taishan Nuclear Power Joint Venture. More than 80 participants attended the event, including representatives from the Regional Nuclear and Radiation Safety Supervision Stations of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, leaders and technical managers from member entities of the CNEA, and representatives of the CNEA Technical Committee on Nuclear Power Operation and its working groups. The conference also included a site visit to the Taishan Nuclear Power Plant.
