At 9:52 on April 1, unit 4 of Hongyanhe NPP was successfully connected into the grid for the first time. It marks that unit 4 is possessed of capacity of power generation, and that, to a greater extent, phase I of Hongyanhe NPP is set to be fully completed soon.

After being connected into the grid for the first time, unit 4 will be put through a series of test to validate the safety functions. It is expected that the unit 4 will be officially put into commercial operation in the first half of this year.
