On 13 November, the Fourth National Conference on Industrial Heritage, with the theme of “Preservation, Inheritance, Utilization”, took place in Huangshi, Hubei Province. As the cradle of nuclear power on the Chinese mainland, the Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant was included in the seventh batch of National Industrial Heritage Sites.

This designation underscores the plant’s landmark status in China’s nuclear history and its remarkable achievements in heritage preservation. Following its designation as a Central Enterprise Industrial Heritage Site (Nuclear Industry), Qinshan has now received another national-level honor in the field of industrial culture.
