From 15 to 16 October, the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) held the 2025 International Conference on the Industrial Application of Nuclear Technology in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. With the theme of “Nuclear Technology for Global Sustainable Development”, the conference upheld its founding mission of “Nuclear Technology Benefitting Humankind”. It featured three parallel thematic sessions: “Integration and Innovation of Nuclear Medicine and Cutting-Edge Technologies”, “Nuclear Technology Empowering Industrial Development”, and “Nuclear Technology Benefitting Society and Public Welfare”.

More than 80 distinguished participants, including government officials, academicians, industry experts, senior corporate executives and association representatives from China and abroad, delivered important speeches. Nearly 600 people attended the event in person, and it was live-streamed simultaneously to reach an online audience of over 10,000.
