On 9 September, Guo Limin, Secretary General of the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA), led a delegation in holding working discussions with Chen Hua, Director of the WANO Shanghai Office. The two parties exchanged views on leveraging their respective strengths and deepening collaboration, reaching a preliminary consensus.

They also shared updates on their organisational operations, key work and achievements. Both parties agreed to enhance cooperation, improve effectiveness, and establish a new collaborative mechanism for sharing resources and achieving greater synergy in their work, thereby laying a solid foundation for future joint efforts.
