From 10 to 14 March, the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) conducted a nuclear project capability assessment of Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd. at the company’s request.

Using its “Guidelines for the Assessment of the Capability Level of Construction and Installation Contractors for Nuclear Power Projects”, the CNEA applied an innovative “15+72” multi-dimensional assessment model. This model covered 15 key dimensions, including construction management, quality assurance and control, HSE management, risk management, schedule management, technical management, materials and tools management, and digital management. It also included 72 specific assessment items.

The assessment provided a comprehensive, systematic and objective evaluation of Zhejiang Thermal Power’s nuclear project capabilities.
