From 24 to 29 November, 2024, at the request of the State Nuclear Power Demonstration Plant Co. Ltd, the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) conducted a peer review of the nuclear safety culture at the Guohe One Demonstration Project.

Following the guidelines set out in the Guidance for Peer Review of Nuclear Safety Culture in Nuclear Power Plants (T/CNEA 053-2022), the assessment involved a comprehensive review of 922 staff questionnaires, 87 staff interviews, six activity observations and numerous document reviews. This process generated 1,534 valid data points, providing a systematic, in-depth and objective assessment of the overall development of the nuclear safety culture at the Guohe One demonstration project.
