On 7-8 November, the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) hosted the 2024 Symposium on Nuclear Safety Culture Development in Shenzhen. This symposium served as a forum for a comprehensive exchange of views on the progress of nuclear safety culture in China’s nuclear power industry. Discussions focused on showcasing recent progress, identifying best practices, and sharing strategies to enhance nuclear safety culture.

The symposium addressed the challenges and difficulties in fostering a robust nuclear safety culture, with the aim of promoting mutual learning and understanding. It aimed to build a common understanding across the industry and provide solid support for ensuring nuclear safety.
