On April 15, 2024, the China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA) held the “2024 Spring International Forum on Sustainable Nuclear Energy Development” with the aim of jointly promoting the safe, efficient and sustainable development of nuclear energy worldwide. The Forum attracted great attention from domestic and international media, with more than 20 journalists from China and abroad covering the event.

The Forum was attended by nearly 500 representatives from relevant government departments in China, international organizations such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), leaders or representatives of the CNEA Council, Expert Committee, special branch institutions and member units, representatives of the winners of the CNEA Science and Technology Award, as well as leaders of foreign nuclear power enterprises, institutions in China and relevant organizations.
