At 10:26 on September 28, CGN Zhejiang Sanao NPP Unit 2 successfully completed the dome hoisting. This marks the full transition of this "Hualong One" nuclear power unit from the civil construction stage to the equipment installation stage. During the construction process of the unit, the CGN San'ao Nuclear Power Project construction team applied new and advanced technologies such as digital three-dimensional simulation and modularization of steam generator compartments to ensure the smooth progress of the construction of the unit. The dome hoisting applied advanced laser intelligent tracking welding technology to achieve more than 68.62% of the welding construction of the dome on-site assembly. The total length of the weld exceeds 528 meters, and the one-time pass rate of radiographic flaw detection reached more than 98%. (Source: CGN)
