On September 4, a cross-regional seminar on the development and application of SMR technology co-sponsored by the IAEA and the CAEA was held in Hainan. Mr. Liu Hua, Deputy Director General of the IAEA, Mr. Liu Jing, Deputy Director of the CAEA, and Mr. Gu Jun, General Manager of CNNC attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
