On June 9, 2023, the 18th China International Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility was held in Beijing. China General Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd released its 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Report. The Report shows the overall practice and effectiveness of CGN's activing fulfillment of social responsibilities in the past year. By the end of 2022, CGN's total assets reached RMB 912.7 billion yuan, its business covers 16 countries and regions around the world, and its total installed capacity of clean energy in operation exceeds 77 million kilowatts. In 2022, CGN's annual clean energy on-grid electricity was 301.663 billion kWh, equivalent to reducing standard coal consumption by 81.815 million tons, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 223 million tons, equivalent to planting 610,600 hectares of forests, contributing to promoting the low-carbon and clean transformation of energy, implementing the national "dual carbon" strategy and contribute to climate change.
