On March 28, 2022, the patent application for the ANT-12A new fuel transport container independently developed by China General Nuclear Power Research Institute Co., Ltd. passed the examination of the State Patent Registration Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan and obtained the invention patent certificate. The ANT-12A new type of fuel transport container is the key equipment for the successful commissioning of the Sino-Kazakh nuclear fuel assembly plant, an important project of the “Belt and Road” initiative.
